Get ready for the fourth season of Canada’s beloved transnational hockey tour
Rogers Hometown HockeyTM Tour is back for Season 4! Canada’s ultimate touring hockey festival will make stops in 24 communities from coast to coast to share the unique stories, personalities and rich hockey history that connects the country through our passion for the game.
Free of charge and open to all hockey fans, Rogers Hometown Hockey Tour presented by Scotiabank and Dodge is a must-see two-day festival. Hosted by Ron MacLean and Tara Slone, it showcases live entertainment, local celebrities, NHL® alumni and plenty of activities for the whole family to enjoy. Each week concludes with an outdoor viewing party of an NHL® game that will be broadcast nationally on SportsnetTM.
The first stop of the 2017-18 season is October 7-8 in Niagara Falls, Ont., at Queen Victoria Park. Award-winning Canadian country-music star and hometown idol Tim Hicks is set to perform on Sunday evening.
“From having the honour of being on RMC campus over Remembrance Day weekend to shining a light on the recovery efforts in Williams Lake come January, Rogers Hometown Hockey connects Canadians all across the country,” says MacLean. “Every Sunday, we pull out the hockey roadmap and discover a part of Canada and ourselves.”
“We have been welcomed so graciously by Canadians from coast to coast,” adds Slone, “and I’m looking forward to feeling that warmth, hospitality and excitement from this year’s group of hometowns.”
If you’re a Rogers customer, you’ll get exclusive access at the festivals through GamePlus™. Check out the GamePlus booth at the Rogers Fan hub to redeem for cool experiences, including NHL® alumni player meet and greets, autographed merchandise and much more.
